Meet Dr Lay Tay

Dr Lay Tay is a specialist in haematology, her main interests are anaemia, haemostasis and thrombosis. She also treats patients with malignant conditions such as myelodysplasia, lymphoma, leukaemia and myeloproliferative disorders.
She had many years of experience working in tertiary teaching hospitals, Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) and Royal North Shore (RNS), and during this time she developed interests in research and clinical trials. She has also worked in haemophilia treatment centres and thalassaemia units in both Sydney and Adelaide and involved in clinical trials of both conditions.
More recently, when she was working in NSW Mid-North Coast and New Zealand, she was involved in clinical trials of myelofibrosis and myeloma.
She is fluent in English, as well as other languages or dialects including Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien.
